Wine Tastings & Tours
Tastings, Tours and More.
Wine. It’s the first word in our name. And the center of everything we do. Whether it’s our state-of-the-art wine storage facility, our acclaimed wine list and wine shop, or our highly- awarded French restaurant, wine is clearly our passion. And a passion we love to share with our guests by offering frequent wine tastings and private wine tours of the finest wine regions in the world.
At The WineSellar & Brasserie, we love to introduce our customers to new wines and reacquaint them with old favorites. To this extent, we offer several types of wine tasting events throughout the week, month and year. Every Wednesday, you can enjoy tastings with friends in our downstairs casual side wine bar. Special walk around tastings of 15 to 20 different wines are also frequently scheduled and a great way to discover new wines and new favorites. And every six to eight weeks, join us for a special winemaker dinner, where you can meet the vintners and owners of exceptional wineries while tasting and dining in the Brasserie. For more information on regular WineSellar Tasting events click here.
We also love to introduce our customers to exceptional vintners in their own surroundings…at their wineries. So, every 12 to 18 months, we offer the opportunity to tour one of the great wine regions of the world with The WineSellar. These private, small group tours, only 14 people, are expertly defined and arranged by The WineSellar to explore and experience the very best the region has to offer. Great tours, great wine, great food and great fun… it’s a trip you surely won’t forget. Previous tours included the premier wine regions of France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, New Zealand, Argentina and more. The Loire Valley of France was the destination of the 2014 Wine and Champagne Tour, and by popular demand, we did “two” tours of Italy’s finest wine regions in 2015. To say that they were amazing would be quite an understatement.
This year, 2016, The WineSellar & Brasserie is planning a tour of New Zealand’s finest wine regions. For details click this link.
