Napa Valley Wine Tour
Sept 25th - 27th ~ Two Nights, Three Days ~ All Inclusive
Exclusively Designed for 8-14 People
I have completed the Napa Wine & Food Tour itinerary and am very excited to tell you about all the places we're going and the people we are meeting!
As all or most of you know, I strive to put together all our wine tours with a certain touch. I love to see people having fun, enjoying all the best there is in wine and food, learning & being enriched in all things as we visit an area. I can get our groups into places that the general public would not be aware of, or because we are in the trade, and I like to round out the tours with different kinds of experiences. That said, I think you will highly enjoy this Napa Wine Valley experience with Gary and I!
----- Sunday September 25th -----
10:30 - 10:45: Depart the Napa Marriott Hotel & Spa
We have a fun and unique dining experience lined up that you are sure to enjoy!
1:00: Celebrity Chef John Ash, A Wine and Food Pairing Class
This is a really fun opportunity and is sure to be a great experience.
4:00: Killer BBQ, Killer Cheese Tasting, Killer Wines
A very special evening with a wine tasting, sparkling wine reception, BBQ, and cheese tasting in the St. Helena home of private collectors, Marty & Patty Bloom. The Bloom’s are the original partners of The WineSellar & Brasserie and will open a few bottles of wine from their private wine collection. It looks like a famed winemaker may drop by and bring his wares as well.
Cheese Tasting and BBQ, with John Raymond, Renowned Cheese Authority
A review about John ... "If you go to Napa Valley and like cheese, and don't go to see John for a tasting, you have not fully experienced Napa. John's passion and excitement for cheese, and its making, are infectious. His knowledge is expansive."
----- Monday September 26th -----
10:00: Departure from Hotel
(After breakfast, included)
A special VIP wine tasting and experience with a top end winery that we love.
A local ranch/farm has a restaurant in St. Helena where they bring their fresh organic meats and vegetables to offer Napa's bounty of excellent foods. They also make their own organic olive oil and wine. Along with our lunch, we will be experiencing an olive oil and wine tasting from their nearby property.
2:30: The AMAZING Private Home of DG Family Winery
We are the first group to be invited in to meet this lovely family, enjoy their beautiful home, and taste their wines, and perhaps play some Bocce Ball. The owner is one of the three founders of Tommy Bahama, and though not necessary, we were thinking it would be fun if we all wore Tommy Bahama as a fun surprise! (www.dgfamilywines.com)
5:00: Free/Play Time in the New and Chic Napa
There are tasting rooms that carry several small boutique wines that you could go visit, good shopping opportunities, walking, brew pubs, and many other fun things to do.
7:00: Dinner at a Special Italian Restaurant
Known for their Napoli style pizza from their authentic & imported Naples brick oven. Be transported to Italy through their original Italian specialties.
----- Tuesday September 27th -----
10:30: Departure from Hotel
(After Breakfast, included)
VIP Cave tour, barrel sampling, wine tasting and food pairing at an exceptional winery.
12:30: Chocolate Tour and Tasting from Esteemed Local Chocolatier’s
Watch, learn, and taste as we learn about creating one of our very favorite sinsations in the world, fine Chocolate!
2:00: Great Farewell Lunch in Napa
A special tasting room/property where several cutting edge winemakers are making some truly amazing wines. Here we are taking over the patio, under the tress, tasting their wines, picnicking, and having all around fun!

*Knowing that some of you will want to play in San Francisco or do more wine country, before and/or after the tour, we will let you arrange your own transportation to and from the area.
For those of you who will want to come before and/or stay after the tour, I have gotten The Marriott to extend our fantastic group rate to our tour!
